High temps can be an issue because the compressor is small and may not be able to maintain safe temperatures even when running 24/7.
A lot of these will do fine in the heat, it's the cold that's the most common issue. It's nothing to worry about if it's just a beverage fridge, just don't store food in the freezer during weather extremes.
