The plate are prongs instead.
I have been using them for all sorts of minor lifting. I used them to square up a set of bifold doors, easy.
The toughest was a loaded electronics bench. The kind with 2 angled monitor decks. Weighs 250 lbs alone.
It took both to lift a corner to remove a rug for cleaning.
It worked but I don't think that 420 lbs is realistic.
But for 20 bucks, worth it.
