My wife and I were making ice with trays but thought we'd try an automatic ice maker. We bought this one (regular price) and another more expensive (ice nugget) model for around $200 to compare. We both liked this ice machine better (looks great, pretty quite, makes ice quickly and easy to clean). It works great and produces the perfect size ice cubes (my wife and I prefer the large option). I'm tempted to get another one at this price!

See, I have both, different brand and I prefer the nugget ice maker... We also have an ice maker in our piece of crap Whirlpool for everyday, but the kids like the nugget ice. Both beat using trays tho
