Pass. Better to pick up Ultra 2 for 500ish. S9 and S10 chip were identical except for chip layout, which was used to make Series 10 much thinner. But Ultra 3 didn't get any thinner, so it's effectively the same device. The screen borders got a tiny bit smaller, if that's important to you.

Picked up 2 of Ultra 3 from Costco for $419 each. It showed up for that price in Costco app (for warehouse stock). In store price was still 799 but they had to honor price showing up in app.

I did the exact same thing, they also had the 11 46mm for $179.For this price though I'd either pay a bit more for the ultra 4 or find a good ultra 2 like everyone else is saying.

I did a ton of research and talk to many people that had smart watches and ended up going with the Garmin instinct series. I never have to charge my phone because it has solar charging and I worked during the daytime outside. It is much more rugged than an Apple Watch, including the ultra series I highly recommend you look at the Garmin instinct series, and talk to people about what they actually do with their smart watch. Almost everyone said to me that they only read their text messages as they come in and value it for their workouts.
