I wish they were 8x. 10x seems to be what most people reach for, but I think 8x is the sweet spot that people sleep on. For spotting or birding the extra field of view and light transmission is huge, and if the glass is good you'll see way more detail than someone more magnification and worse glass.

The only difference its a "grey" color instead of green. whatever. Found these for a friend earlier this year, no complaints.
