One minor point to consider is that each plug uses about 1 watt 24 x 7. A bit more when the relay is on/energized and a bit less when the relay is off/standby.
That's about $1 per year per plug plus whatever the device plugged into it uses.
They can act oddly if integrated with Amazon / Alexa with some things turning on randomly. Rare, but it happens a few times a month for me.
WiFi is 2.4 band only.
A good deal at $3 each.
For those unaware, Tapo is also TP-Link, and that's where you'll find Matter support.
