You're confusing WAN with LAN. I didn't buy a switch to browse the internet faster; I bought it to move files between my local devices, backing up to my NAS, and streaming high-bitrate media locally.
Even if someone has standard internet, a 10Gb uplink ensures multiple 2.5Gb local clients don't bottleneck each other when routing internal traffic. It's okay if local networking isn't your thing, but calling basic network architecture 'delusional' just because you don't understand the difference between local traffic and your ISP bill is a weird look.

Your following reply is just demonstrating your "superiority" in knowledge with an correction then more bragging about how smart you are (or believe to be)... none of which is that difficult and anybody can search on YouTube and be on your level. You of course end with another more basic statements and insults to solidify yourself as a common redditor who acts intelligent, but just clogs up the chat.
