For $10 more you can get the solar version: https://a.co/d/0iRKnJZW

Don't even need to install the solar panel, but handy if you have a spot

Battery powered, checked. Wireless wifi, checked. Easy removal with magnetic base, checked. How can this even be considered a security device? I guess security device definition is fluid.
So if you don't have steel exterior doors why bother with deadbolts kind of reasoning?

I mean, it's a very vague statement. Arguably it can be a security device since it can be used for security. Is it the best? No, but it is a security device. The little ball point pens with beads at banks and places would advertise as "Anti theft security" and many of those use the same beads that a ceiling fan uses to attach length to the chain. So it's hardly high security.

As a tangent, my personal favorite dumb marketing I saw, was in the toy department when chalk had "Anti-Roll technology" (later just "Anti Roll" on later packaging) that just meant that the chalk was made like a pencil with multiple flat sides to keep it from rolling as easily.

While I'm not promoting it, if you wanted to, you can remove wired security cameras with screwdrivers, a battery sawzall & wire cutters easily.

You're probably right. Most of the wired cameras just have some small course thread screws and the wire is just a flimsy poe cable. With a good enough tug, that wired camera should come right out. It'll probably tick off the camera owner more that they'll have to re-pull new wire through the walls than the camera.
