Ugh phones will never be affordable again... I've been waiting to upgrade from my S23 for years.
Wait around the holidays, Samsung refurb phones have a new battery and 1 year warranty. You might be able to snag a S24 for like $200-250 with any phone trade in. It's been like that for the past few years (last year was the S23). Anything from S24 and up got 7 years of updates. Camera have pretty much stayed the same from there on. Or you can get the battery replaced on your S23 and use it for another year or two until you find something you like.
Just wait for Black Friday and get the 26 ultra for $800
Yup. I got my S24 ultra with 1TB of space for less than $900 when they offered those Samsung .edu deals a few years ago. I know it comes around every year so that's the best deal you'll get if you can be patient enough to wait around for it

Get the S25+ 256GB for $679 instead of this. That way you won't have to deal with an optical fingerprint reader, 128GB and 8GB RAM. Or wait for the BF deals.
For Christ's sake why? So you would be able to scroll tik-tok reels faster?
I mean... you're not wrong. It does meet my current needs at this point (which is not scrolling tik-tok fortunately). This has been my justification for not upgrading, besides the battery not performing as well anymore.
We've been using Fan Edition phones since S21 FE and have been very happy with them but there's no way I would pay this much for it so we're going to skip this generation unless better deals come around.

This is me, but the only reason I want to upgrade is that mine has a cracked screen and the cost to replace that is $300+
