Same. Only issues I've had was the one connected to my garage lights. They were fluorescent tube bulbs and the switch kept failing after a few months. I replaced them with LEDs and the switch has worked perfectly.

I have used them in my house for a couple of years. My only issue is that the relay on one of them gets stuck and I can not turn the light on/off. I replaced it and the replacement one just froze up. Turning the breaker off and on has worked to reset it.

I have these and never had an issue with them, but surprised they're still selling these as I thought I read last year they're obsoleting the Kasa brand in favor of their new line

These are max 2 or 3 amps. Thought it would be great to control an outdoor outlet with this for Christmas lights. I've blown up two of them forgetting how little it can handle.

so they can't handle fans? Have a fan that's making buzzing sounds when used with a dimmer switch.

Look up the amps on the ceiling fan and amps on this model. The startup amps is going to be what you need to worry about. Once they are spinning they use very little power.

The specs on the listing says they can handle 15 amps which is pretty typical and is good for 1,800 watts. But lets say it's only 3 amps. That would still covers 360 watts. That's not a lot, but it's should still be plenty for Christmas lights when you consider a string of 100 led lights only use about 10 to 15 watts. Even 100 mini incandescent lights shouldn't use more than 40 to 50 watts per string. Maybe you got a faulty switch because something doesn't add up if you've blown up multiple switches wired to just Christmas lights.
