Looks are subjective. But, an AE1200WH is resin not stainless.

These were regularly on sale for ~$180 5 years ago. I know this because during my 10 year work anniversary 5 years ago, I remembered having the option to choose this watch as a gift and I recall researching the price online. I ended up choosing a $300 Best Buy gift card as the gift since the gift card is worth more than this watch.

god i felt like an idiot when i paid $185 back in 2024. i returned it though because it wears like garbage. the wrist bands dont bend at the "end link" and wrap around your wrist. they splay outwards and the links don't flex enough to work with smaller wrists which was a complete surprise and bummer
