Advance paris adds a little bit of warmness with the tube preamp section if that is a trait you would like to add to your current home audio it is a wonderful amplifier. The yamaha has a slightly more detailed type sound signature so depending on what you would like to add to your current setup tone wise. Both are great options depending on your preference.

At this price point I'd be looking at an arcam SA35. 3.5k for 90 watts is pitiful.
