It appears that third party cartridges are about $20 each. That is more pricy than some other 3rd party cartridges for other printers, but this one has a drum in each cartridge. So, each replacement also replaces the drum.

How good is this with wireless setup, and mobile? Specifically IOS devices.

Also, what's canon like with keeping the drivers up to date with new macOS updates?

I have a xerox workcentre 3215 from 2018 or so.
No scanner driver for my current macOS I am using.

I gave up on wireless prints

Double-sided originals → double-sided copies: Not automatically. You'll need to manually flip/re-feed the originals because the ADF cannot scan both sides.

It's good, I don't have to connect it to anything. I just click "print file" and loos for any printers that's connected to the same WiFi, I've used it with mobile and computers

if the drum has a chip, be careful when you upgrade over the air. in my brother (which looks a lot like this), they bricked my non-oem replacement drums and i had to buy another brand and turn off auto-updates to avoid it happening again. annoying.

It's a black and white laser so only requires one toner.
