I bought this. Terrible quality. No center supports for the shelves which are the flimsiest MDF I've ever seen. No way this has 4000lb capacity, much less 400lbs.

I just got the larger size muscle rack and I think they are really good quality (now sold out). The 72x60x24 weighs 110 lbs. in the box for reference - it's solid and not flimsy at all. The shelves work great for bins and other normal items and allow things to easily slide on the sturdy boards, but with that said, I don't think Id tray maxing it out at 4,000 lbs. and expect good results over time.

Yeah, the mdf shelves in these types if racks are horrible if not fully supported. Mdf is just too dense to stay flat undernits own weight, let alone the weight of an item upon it.

With that said, it's not hard or costly to make supports for under the MDF. But I prefer to just remove it abd out in 3/4 plywood. That way I don't have to worry about it. And I can use the MDF elsewhere for jigs or toilet paper. 😆 🤣
