I admit it feels like once I hit approximately 40 years of age or somewhere around there that I started being disgusted by sneaker prices. For some reason an expensive pair of boots is easier to swallow than a pair of sneakers.
Wife and I make doctorate salaries and we generally do not purchase sneakers in this price range. I have 2 boys and I wouldn't buy this crap for them either.
$160 for what?

For far too long now, NIke ran with these Retros like they are allowed to kick virtually any colorway and it gets eaten up.
Though this one isn't bad, it's also the prices... for what they are and least of which.. where they are made for that price that kept on going up the past 10yrs.
The retros, they couldnt leave well enough alone... make only the original color ways for the majority... as they did do back then when the few retros began. Those might slightly command the $210 prices... though even at that, i think their MSRP at most for those should be $150.

Those were the days playing ball but I don't miss the sprained ankles and jammed fingers. I play a safe sport now, golf. LOL Don't get me started on Jordan golf shoes. Stick to basketball.
