I've found that when you're monitor arm is "just strong enough", any minor adjustment can result in the whole screen tipping so that it is pointed downwards. In addition, you probably don't just want a monitor arm that holds up the monitor in one position forever. You want something that you can make minor (or major) adjustments. Even if just occasionally. An arm that can barely do the job will be a lot harder to position than an arm that can comfortably support even more weight.
I haven't used the brand in this deal, so I can't comment on it directly. But I do recommend something like this for anything bigger than your typical 27" screen. Unless money is super tight, paying an extra $5-$10 is probably worth the potential reduction in frustration. Plus, you may be able to keep using it if you upgrade to an even larger monitor in the future.
