The Sanrenmu button mechanism is unique but not hard to figure out, it's not meant to be flipped so people who expect that may be disappointed but it's clearly a safety feature. The steel is better than 3cr13, they used to have 3 SRMs instead of mixing it with the others so the value of the 3 pack is lower now. I bet many who have gotten the SRM 3 pack won't touch these and may have only bought from Field Supply for that deal alone.

They are sturdy and sharp.
I've had no problems with them but I concur that they are not a smooth EDC knife.
