What's the difference between this and URLIFE E20, which is usually cheaper by about $100?
Upon looking into it. I don't think there's any difference. They look pretty much identical. The urlife e20 'which i own' also gets advertised as a 1000 watt bike. It actually has five hundred running watts. According to chat GPT this one has the same motor. And most likely has the original same OEM. It went on to say that the gleeride website even sells the urlife e20 and the parts should interchangeable. That's not necessarily a bad thing as the the urlife e20 is an awesome bike. But you may be able to get a little better deal i
f you go that route
I bought this e-bike back in April. BIG NOTE: it'll say 15AH on the site and in your sales, but you'll probably only get the 13AH variant.
It's *OK* for what it is. I bought a bunch of different accessories for it and some things to make it more comfortable to ride. I use it to save on gas riding it to work instead of my car. My biking commute is just under 3 miles each way.
I will add that I did have an issue with the controller where the headlight would turn on automatically when I turned on the battery. The headlight is only supposed to turn on when you hold down the (+) button on the pedal assist power level. I contacted Gleeride asking them about finding a replacement motor control. They asked me to send them a video of the issue. then they sent me a new controller at no charge. it did take a week and a half to arrive.
It does the job. It's fine for what it is at this price point. There's UL certification on the site at least but nothing printed anywhere noticeable on the outside.
