I have a V6, V8 and now the V15 from the costco deal.
V6 has a very short runtime and inadequate suction for my 1300SFT Condo comapred to the V8. It also is loud, and noticeably so in the higher pitch range.
The V8 is loud but very serviceable for cleaning one room at a time(2 cats, 2 dogs, carpet), but runs out of juice if I try to do the living room and bedroom.
The V15 is quieter, incredibly powerful (was picking up rugs I used to vacuum at max power on the V8), and I vacuumed what would normally take my V8 out of commission and had 60% battery left.
Overall, if you are looking to get more out of your vacuum, I honestly doubt you'd be disappointed. I didn't even realize how loud my V8 was until I used the V15 (again, while getting more suction out).
The only big downside is that the V15 is a bit bulkier than the V6 or V8, so fatigue might be an issue for some.

I still have the v7 and everything still works, except the stick broke…
I'm seriously considering returning the refurb for this, anyone want to weigh in on if it's "worth" it. I'm very much a clean freak with 5 kids, 1 being a crawling baby…
Anyone have any pointers for getting a bigger discount, although this seems solid.

Your primarily going to use the Digital Motorbar and Fluffy Optic. Just make sure you don't get the flavor with the older Laser Slim head.
I got the Costco one last time because I needed a vacuum, with the expectation is gonna drop more by Black Friday so I'll rebuy/return.
If you want one now this is overall great price but if you want flexibility to return later then go with Costco.
Warning: with that laser head be prepared to know things about your floors, you might not wanted to know lol
