As far as I'm aware, that has to be one of the best deals for a new HD 800 S. Even on ebay used it's hard to find them anywhere below that price.

When I don't use this link and go straight to Adorama's website and look up these exact same headphones, they show up as $1399, not $1199. Can I ask how or where you found this link or if there is a code used to get the price cheaper?

Simply put -the 800S is one of the most incredible headphones you can buy. You need a good dac/amp to get the most out of them but if you have the equipment and can afford them you won't be disappointed.
