Well, if I ever get there, that'll be the first thing I'll check for. I do buy brussel sprouts, broccoli florets, cauliflower florets and whole string beans. That's about it--sometimes the carrot, broccoli & cauliflower combos. When I was at SR last weekend, there was almost nothing in the case. I was lucky to find five I could use at all. Guess they don't have to try hard to sell them if they don't have any.
Aldi's offerings are more limited. Not sure I've seen the cauliflower florets or the whole string beans in the Aldi brands. But we do use a good amount of broccoli, so their 89c steamers on the florets have gotten a lot of action in our house.

Also, for months, ShopRite here was limiting frozen veggies to a limit of 4 TOTAL, not across types. so it was a pain. think they've lifted that now hopefully.

I used to be able to call for Barber coupons (for years). Sometimes they would send five, sometimes three. Whatever. However, the co. has changed hands and there aren't any coupons available anymore.

I also ordered from Omaha Steaks last fall, but when I went back to United's merchandise section, they no longer have any Omaha Steaks products. They were similar to Barber, but larger and I think only two kinds. They were OK. I was using miles, not cash--Omaha is very expensive. I was going to order again since there haven't been any deals on Barber. Not sure what my next move will be!

Re Aldi veg--thanks--$.89 for Broccoli florets is a good price! Also, I also noticed that SR took down the signs limiting the quantity of frozen vegs.

I asked about a flavor of Quaker oatmeal, was told they ran out and was offered a raincheck. Asked when they starting giving out rainchecks again and was told it never stopped, per CT law (as long as the item is in the flyer).

Aldi has steamer veggies in the frozen case 79-$1.19 every day. Broccoli, peas, brussel sprouts, medley veggies, etc. The best I've seen at SR since the pandemic is 4/$5 on their own brand of veggies.
I get frozen Brussel Sprouts from SR...in a light butter sauce I forget the brand...it's awesome.

The misses likes the Picsweet steamers with the pepper seasoning so I try to grab a bunch when they go on sale but other then that I switch my veggie choices up.

Will say I ended up grabbing more then I expected at SR this week, that giant box of gold fish had the misses name all over it.

Anyone use the $4 Tena coupon in this past weekends inserts?
SFH for my store does not show the pads that are usually sale (?) priced at $2.89. Usually they do show them.
Cheapest it shows are the "Intimates Modern Pads Regular" sale $4.99 from $5.99.

Wonder if they are still carrying the cheaper ones and if the coupon works .

I see the Perdue Short Cuts are on sale again for $2.99. Bought last sale and I used them by heating in gravy. Wonder if anyone has frozen them? I think on package it does mention freezing. Maybe "Use or Freeze by...."

Do they taste ok after defrosting?
thanx

I usually buy them when on sale also. I freeze them in packages of 3oz. I've had them in the freezer for 6 months and they still taste great.

(Damn, no emoji for throwing or tossing items into the freezer. Not even a slam-dunk basketball, 'tossing of the football' or pitching a curve ball.)

Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies 3 for $5 (with ecoupon)

Re this, they say "Milano" but show a picture of one of the Distinctive varieties (which is what I usually get when they run this sale). I like Geneva and Brussels. Wonder if the ecpn will work as it has in the past. Maybe the price will help me to figure it out....usually Milano and Distinctive would be the same price.

On another topic: Has anyone else had to log in twice on the SR site lately--once for the digitals and then again for the Downtime Dollars? This has been happening to me--what a pain. It's acting as if it's two different sites on the same visit.

I remember buying Tena products (I'm a guy) and other ladies products just for the MM/overage deals back in the day. Always got looks from cashiers. LOL
