How about sharing all the great deals we get at shoprite here? Let's just keep this one thread until we get "bigger". Please, post your best deals.

WIKI should have all the weekly deals and we'll keep this thread just one. All are encouraged to add any coupons/deals to such. Happy Shopping!!!

We do Aldi 1-2 times a week as we'll pick up stuff spur of the moment to eat, Shoprite maybe once a week My better half needs caffine free tea and they have the Turkey Hill stuff), Walmart every 2 weeks along with Sam's Club every 2 weeks. I've stopped chasing deals honestly but I replaced that time with doing sweepstakes.

Though I do miss some deals like the yearly Progresso soup-a-thon or the pompeian vinegar deals of past.

I'm shopping WM and Aldi's, but SR meat sales beat them both so today I stocked up on hamburger and London broil and salmon.Used my Gillette cats, so $10 of meat was free.
Also used my last Bella IPs on dog food, bought a couple avocados and 4 Breyers.
And corn.
The loss leaders are generally the only reason I go to SR these days.

Jolly Time popcorn is free again ($1.49) with $0.75/1 IP here [jollytime.com] if you can print again. I had to use a new browser.

ETA: Assuming it doubles, I've forgotten, it's been so long since I've used it!

Longtime lurker, just wondering where you are all shopping in addition to Shoprite?
I have a 15-year-old son who consumes massive quantities so we buy a lot at BJ's. Here in our part of NYC on Stop and Shop doubles coupons. It is not on our usual path and they are often out of what I want anyway . . . . Our son is a protein monster so we stock up on chicken legs. My husband makes him "packets" using Christmas Ziploc/Gladware containers bought at Target 90% and puts 2 legs, pasta, and veggies. The veggies were actually the hardest for us early on during the pandemic. We had a decent stockpile but my husband eats a bag a day. They were limiting folks to four bags and the sale prices were GONE.

We are heading up towards Warwick, NY this week and plan on going to the Shoprite there. The Brooklyn stores are OK but it will be nice to shop in a different one for a change.

Any one know off hand, which are $3. for 3? SFH shows sale of $1,79 again this week, but none 3 for $3.

Those are the right ones. It's a "must buy 3" deal, so they're $1.79 each with the additional discount coming off on multiples of 3.

Before farms started pick your own season, Lidl for fruits and veggies, Aldi for same, the rest is either Costco or BJ. Now, with the farms, occasional BJ and Costo. Most comes from freezer and farms.

I've been alternating between SR, Aldi and Wegman's. We're getting a Lidl soon so hoping to find some good savings there too.

I like the Pearls Olives this week--$.77 each and coupon for $1 off 3 (in 8/30 inserts). Cheap for black olives. Just hope they have them by the time I get there.

As far as shopping at SR generally, I'm with everyone else--have not been buying that much for the past year. We just got an Aldi here, but I haven't gotten there yet. Finally used an old stamped-type R/C (w/no date) for Bird's Eye vegs last weekend for $.99 each wyb 5. No good current sales on vegs or a stand-by of mine, Barber chicken. It's been slim pickins' for sure.

There are certain odd items I will get at Aldi like whipped cream cheese, queso fresco cheese, hummus, beef jerky, pork rinds, etc.

Aldi has steamer veggies in the frozen case 79-$1.19 every day. Broccoli, peas, brussel sprouts, medley veggies, etc. The best I've seen at SR since the pandemic is 4/$5 on their own brand of veggies.

Well, if I ever get there, that'll be the first thing I'll check for. I do buy brussel sprouts, broccoli florets, cauliflower florets and whole string beans. That's about it--sometimes the carrot, broccoli & cauliflower combos. When I was at SR last weekend, there was almost nothing in the case. I was lucky to find five I could use at all. Guess they don't have to try hard to sell them if they don't have any.

FYI Walmart has pretty cheap prices for frozen steamer veggies, I believe they beat Aldi's prices but stay away on weekends as they get emptied quickly.

Also if you like the plain old Chicken cordon blue Barber the Aldi's has a single version for a dollar I believe.
