How well do these work? I would use it to clear the snow off my back deck. I live in New England.

Really wish the one with the carbon fiber attachment and the multi-head tool itself would go on sale.

I got one for the same use case. Hasn't snowed yet, but based on what I saw it should be able to handle the job as long as you don't let it get too deep. The kit with battery and charger had frequently been going on sale for $265 which is a better deal if you'll use that stuff.

It's $199 at Lowe's as well, and get $10 in Lowes cash if you choose pickup.

Any owners that can comment on battery life? If can usually get by with single battery for a couple passes when snowing.

They never drop the price for that one. I am watching that as well. I wish that one is the one on sale right now.

I just can't see why I'd buy another full unit when I have the multihead system already, and why it isn't significantly cheaper, on top of that, to just get the attachment in the first place!

Poorly for anything but the lightest and fluffy snow. At the point a shovel works because the battery won't run out.

Also, Walmart sells several models for around $150, so this isn't even a good price.
