There's been people complaining on reddit that they have been putting less meat on their sandwiches now. Apparently a private equity firm bought them out. I haven't noticed anything different at my local store though.

Their cheese makes me gag. No idea why. It has this weird stink to it. I try to order it without it.

I've been mystery shopping them for 3+ years and photographing cross-sections of subs. In my experience, meat portion size varies depending on the store and associate who makes the sub, but I haven't noticed any definite trends. Then again, all the JM's in my area have always been stingy with portions.
