Wow amazing deal is last month's price. And this is a good thing - if you're on the fence, go for it.

I still got like $200 best buy credit from the pixel 9 trade in deal 2 years ago. Not sure if I should go for it. I have a 6800xt which serves me fine. Hopefully gpu prices go back to normal in 2 years when Id need an upgrade for sure

So 5070's will never hit $600 again? Was hoping BF or Christmas would be a time to get one at a price that's too high but lower than current at least

Micron no longer making 2GB GDDR7 Modules they moved to 3GB Modules without RTX 5000 series Super Cards only Samsung/Hynix will be able to supply the memory for current Nvidia gaming cards.

Yep, RAM is spoken for for at least the next few years, but likely longer. Extra capacity takes years to spin up, and it wouldn't collapse prices for years afterwards anyway. Welcome to the new normal.

I'm afraid I have to agree. In 2016, I bought a GTX 1070 new for $350. Fast forward to 2020 and the RTX 3070 was $500. As time goes on, there's a likely upward trajectory w/ a GPU's price and the likelihood of a price decrease is nil 😔.

I won't speak about the price of this card as being a deal since everything seems overpriced, but I have this card and it's a solid GPU. It runs fairly cool around 40C at idle with a mild under-volt (-65mv) and the fans are fairly quiet even running around 60-70% during gaming. I didn't win the silicon lottery when it comes to memory overclocking and only achieved a slight increase to 2650 mhz where it was stable, but wouldn't hesitate to recommend this card for those looking for a decent gaming card.
