Nintendo themselves have said they'll continue to keep restocking this. For how long is anyone's guess, but most assume at least through the holiday seasons. But if you can't snag one now, don't fret. And DEFINITELY don't give in to scalpers. You'll be able to get one eventually.

This is the same thing they did with the animal crossing nintendo switch version. Its not a limited edtion. It will be available easily.

It's been Nintendo's standard operating behavior for nearly 2 decades now to keep prices high with these shenanigans of artificial supply-demand scarcity. The opportunistic scalpers only murky the waters with their games, only to return excess merchandise the over-order and can't profit once demand dies down. Sadly, this is Zelda, so scalpers will be snatching these up like vultures in hopes to make a quick buck. The $500+ price tag does tend to limit the resale market a bit, as most people don't want to chance a purchase that expensive with the secondary market sellers and scammers. I feel bad for the collectors and the hardcore fans, but hope they don't pay a premium for these.

They let me process an order and pre-order one. I won't be shocked if they cancel it. That tends to be my luck. I don't care about getting it on release, but I do care about paying a 200% markup for a scalper AI bot farm re-selling em....

These companies have to come up with a better system so AFK bots can't buy up all the stock.....
