also if you have a webcam most work on the switch. just plug into usb port. also, dont buy this to use on PC. the picture quality is pretty bad

$30 is good but I can't believe they designed this with that horrible top mounted usb plug. It should be plugged into the dock. Unfortunately we don't know anyone who has one so not much point in getting one.

It was! I ordered 2. Did a test with my brother (we each have a Switch 2, old nintendo fans), figured we would only try it for 5 minutes but we played together for an hour+ over camera. Worked great: I was sitting 2 ft away from the camera in my home, and he sat about 10 ft away from the camera in his home. It blurred our backgrounds and highlighted each of us equally well despite the difference in distance. Admittedly, I do not know if other cameras handle that distance difference as well, but for $10 I dont even care to try. Yes I know this deal is for $30.

Super simple, just update firmware, quality is not high def but does the job. Not a big deal having to plug it in to the top USB while docked, just unplug when done using.

I would buy one more for $30 for my Dad if he gets a Switch 2.

You can find them like-new on ebay for a little bit cheaper ~ $25. I tested a USB camera I use for work, but it would not read QR codes (I wanted to transfer old Miis from my Wii U). The official camera works for that purpose. I have yet to try it with any games yet. It does have a very wide viewing angle. Makes my living room look huge.
