I think it was ~2999 for the 1tb config (don't recall 2tb price). I remember looking at B&H which had the 1tb 64gb ram m5 pro on sale for 2699 at one point.

The 14.2 inch Macbook Pro with the M5 Max throttles a lot based on tests compared to the 16-inch with the same exact config. So, having more GPU cores will not be very efficient for the price you would end up paying.
