I have one of these. After a year the faucet can't select between spray and stream. Warranty was kind of honored but had to pay $30 and I must replace the whole assembly. Seems like it will be a yearly headache

That's a really common problem with all faucets that can switch between spraying and streaming! I learned it the hard way with an older faucet with the side sprayer lol. It got stuck and I had to hit the faucet with a wrench to get it to switch back. Thankfully it did eventually!

Hitting them does usually knock loose enough sediment lol

I have a pull down faucet that switches between spray and stream that I picked up from home Depot many many years ago and still going without issues. I believe it was a & e? I'll have to look at my old photos for it. But it's not a name brand like Delta or Moen. I wanted to find a new faucet with a pull down like this but maybe I'll keep what I have.

Edit: found it. I actually got it from Lowe's and it was an Allen and Roth pull down faucet, got it for $13 many years ago.

Do you have hard water? You may need to clean out the mineral deposits. If that's the case, it's not about the faucet. It's about simple maintenance you have to do.
