Nah, It is an LG. LG says you pay for it but they own it and they can capture and sell anything that appears on the screen "We own the Glass" - Never LG. Never Microsoft. They both say they can "Scan Your Screen" and resell anything displayed on it. See Gamers Nexus on YT

Yeah, that used to be a way around it, before embedding in the silicon became the new method. It is no longer restricted to the OS. LG's ACR on TVs is overt user spyware and Microsoft now too, according to those knowing way more than you and me, but all you have to do it actually READ your EULAs. (Mint user, btw)
