Still, if you are printing a bunch of models that take say 45x45mm then the 250 class bed means you can print 25 vs 16 at a time.
So what about this printer? While my lunch has been good with refurb Creality, others have had less luck. For a bit less you can get (on sale) a Flashforge 5M. It can't print the higher temp materials (open frame, 280C hot end) but it will be new and the quality is very good.
I have the K1 max and had the 5M. I had fewer first layer issues with the 5M (it helped that it came with a texture build plate vs the smooth from the K1max). The 5M's material change process seemed strange at first but I like it better than the process used by the K1 simple because it's easier. The material doesn't reverse out of the K1 that easily due to the bend at the print head.
Back in the day Bambu was the worst when it came to user privacy. Not sure these days. At least the FF works with generic Orca.
An enclosed kit for the 5M cost me about $45 in materials + kit. It's not as nice as the factory Creality setup but also not required.
Basically, this could be a good deal but the FF 5M for $140 or the AD5X multi color for $210 would make this a hard sell for me even though it's not a bad printer.
