I think it would be tough to find a case like this nowadays, just seems goofy to me, you can buy a usb stick that offers those same inputs

I guess it's the convenience of not having to find the dongle when you need it, but why wouldn't they at least make it the size of a CD drive?

the only case i'm aware of that still has external drive bays (two 5.25" ones, hidden in the bottom behind a door) is this one, plus the related full tower version: https://www.newegg.com/fractal-de...6811352175

so you'd still have to get a 3.5" -> 5.25" adapter Smilie great deal on this though, if you've still got any xd cards or memory sticks lying around! Wink now if only it supported any uhs speeds..

They sell 5.25" to 3.5" adapters. Plus whoever is buying this is probably still rocking a P4 in the original case Wink

P.S. if you search "pc case with front drive bays" on amazon there are still some results. Honestly, if I was building a PC from scratch (to include the case), I'd likely still add a bluray writer...so nice to know there are still some options.

can just get a 5.25 inch converter to slot this into. hell i got the front panel for that sort of thing in my parts bin from an old case.
