The only answers are: It's not required by SD as SD wants you to click the link to find out so they get $ for click-throughs, or the OP is too lazy to input regular price manually, or finally, OP purposefully leaves out regular price to generate clicks to enhance their standing w/SD and/or generate commission from SD for themselves (if you're not aware, "non-staff" at SD can be paid by SD for posting), although OP is staff so getting paid for clicks for sure either way. Simply put, without a regular price posted on SD, you must click or do your own search to find the regular price. Either way, it's discourteous of OP and SD to allow deals without posting the regular price.
