Walmart has done this at least a few times in the past six months. I picked up Crimson Desert for $40 in April. It released in March. They also had a game called Screamer for $35 around the same time.

Ubisoft games tend to go cheap after just a couple years. Actually works in their favor. I bought every Assassins creed for ps3 because they were under $20 telling myself I was gonna play it and only ever got around to playing the first one 15 years later. Since then I bought the ezio trilogy because it was so darn cheap too.
