I dislike Fox more than the next guy, but I kind of don't want to know who owns the shit that I buy, because I'm sure that the top of every pyramid is some evil asshole. I feel like it all rolls up to Taco Bell anyway.

It gets pretty easy to determine the source of an OLED panel once you learn that only two manufacturers exist for large format OLED, LG for WOLED panels, and Samsung for QDOLED panels.

Thats fair, ive just been able to find any real brightness measurements etc. I saw another source saying its the c2 panel pre evo. Appreciate the info though, had a b6 48 for my pc, just got a g5 55" otherwise I would have got this 65".

I was hearing it was the B6 panels. It makes more sense the Roku would be using panels already in production than have LG bring back a panel from 4 yrs ago. We're going to have to get in-depth reviews before we get actual specs. None of the paid promotion reviewers seems to dived that deep, they were surface level reviews.

One annoying, HW firmware problem with Roku , pioneer

Sound will randomly disappear, it will suddenly default output to headphone /earphones mode, no amount of troubleshooting restores that you have to hard reset the TV every time. We bought two different models and we regret it because this has been extremely annoying.

There will probably be comparable deals on bottom end OLED on BF, but I decided to jump on this anyway. I found 2 real reviews on youtube.
Pro: It's OLED and the screen beats any other tech in this price range
Con: Older LG panel, dimmest of all tested OLED, features (TV settings, not the streaming software) not up to par with the big names

I don't care about the streaming part. I have apple tv.
