The Amazon price on these haven't ever gone below $29 from what I can tell. The MSRP though is $16.42 at Walmart though so mb and updating

When sealing, the regular mouth tend to seal more easily. Wide mouth I have trouble with sealing especially for something like pickles. Otherwise not really any different from what I have experienced. This is bad because I have to throw the jar back in the water with the pickles and that causes pickles to get kinda soft and mushy, instead of crunchy and firm.

Yeah, that is something that they need to enforce more. So many companies get away with this, but luckily we have graphs that let us know.
