I wonder what is the wind resistant? I live in Florida but it does not say anything in the website.

The most specific published rating for the standard 10' x 12' Aoodor cedar-frame hardtop gazebo (galvanized metal roof, charging socket) is up to 31 mph.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

These take forever to put together. It's many smaller pieces of wood that you bolt and screw together to create longer lengths. The whole structure is fairly wobly until the final tightening of all the main bolts.

I put a 20ft x 12ft 2 years ago, with 2 other guys and took us 2+ full days to construct. 100s of screws and bolts. The fasteners filled up 2 of those portable Dewalt job tables.

They look nice once completed, but i don't expect a long life from them. Very soft cedar. You get what you pay for.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. These are tempting until you calculate the real cost, which you detailed quite well in your post.

10 x 12 is a little small for something like this. I wouldn't trust the photo showing all the furniture under it.

How deep you went with the posts, or it was bolted on the concrete.

6 seasons ago, I went in another direction. Over my 14x 28 deck, I bought two sun shade sais, 14 x 18 and put a couple hooks on the house side and attached the other end to trees in the yard. It cost me about $50, looks good, goes up in minutes, and I can take it down altogether in the winter when I want the sun hitting my deck and side. FWIW

Definitely worth considering shade sails of you haven't. I have that on part of my yard. Also have a gazebo with a ceiling fan, rollup shade wall, tv and lights. Best of both worlds.

Thanks for the heads up. Effectively, this isn't suitable for practically anywhere in the continental US then.

These are around the same price on Amazon. Is this really a big discount?
