I mean i would love a cordless heat gun but mine cost $10 and is corded. not sure the cordless is worth that much.

I have a corded and this cordless. Corded pushes quite a bit more heat quite a bit quicker. I may hit some shrink tubing in a pinch or thaw a padlock in winter with cordless. I would say most would be better off with a cord.
