This was 100% the problem. You can't just add the promo code and click continue. You have to add the promo code, then click the little arrow that appears on the right side of the promo code box, then you can hit continue to checkout. Thank you!

I've done that so many times without realizing it until I notice the price hasn't dropped. Makes you wonder if Amazon made it intentionally counterintuitive so that a portion of customers unknowingly pay full price when they think they're getting a discount.

From what I've come to understand, if a device doesn't list PPS in the product description or specs, it doesn't have it. Most people don't know any better, so they see "Fast Charging" on their Galaxy phone and think the 20W it's charging at is full speed, and subsequently give it 5 stars. These shady manufacturers know that, and that's why they list phones that need PPS to charge full speed when they know they can get away with it.

Searching Amazon AI and Google (with model XHD-6002-1C) apparently it supports PPS fwiw but I would put more trust in a real user review.

Do you know about the 20-80% thing? Don't let it go under 20 and on newer phones you can set it to stop charging at 80%, which is the case for my Galaxy A16 not the newest or the best.
