Sony outsourced all production of TVs to TCL starting next year. The tv market has been cornered by China. Just get a TCL

I remember when Sony was considered top of the line. $2k with no local dimming sounds insane these days.

might as well buy an OLED if your TV budget is $2,000.

I wouldn't trust anything this 4 letter word manufacturer makes. I have a plethora of planned obsolescence 4KTVs that are unsupported that otherwise worked until they decided I should trash them and buy a new one.
What?

Clearly you are paying for size and not picture quality/features. Still, $2k for 100 inches and Sony processing? Nothing wrong with that!

Can you buy a 100 inch oled for $2k? I don't think so. It looks like you can get a 77" oled at $2k.

I have a 98" tcl qm7k mini led that I bought for around $2k and I'll take that over a 77" oled any day of the week. Most people would do the same because you might get a little better picture quality, which probably won't be noticeable to the average viewer who's streaming content, while sacrificing a massive size.
