I have had this same one for 2 years. For me, its the perfect size and weight. The stealthsonic is so quiet and is what sets this apart from the rest. I never knew what I was missing with a traditional loud one. If it broke tomorrow, I would buy the same one. Only negative some may say is you cant turn it into a blower. For me that's a non issue, i never used the blower feature on any of my other shop vacs. I have a dedicated blower for that purpose.

I bought the 9 gallon version a few years ago just to have the additional capacity and I'm glad I did especially when our basement flooded. These things are definitely quieter than the standard shop vac and work well. Only issue as mentioned previously, there is no blower functionality. This is a vac that you need to have just in case if you're a homeowner.

I was debating between the 6 and 9 gallon as well. Went with the 9 gallon as it has accessory storage on the back where the 6 gallon does not.
