Why are all your replies in your threads so snarky?
Nothing snarky about it, totally factual. I explained why this thread is not a repost of the thread claimed was a repost. I mean, I do have to chuckle when people wave the repost banner when it doesn't apply.

What about your reply to the other person... "I'll wait for the math on this one.". When I see snarky replies, the common denominator is usually the op.

seriously, yes, there's a degree of irreverance or sarcasm there. But people shouldn't take it personally. I mean, it's a challenge so posters really look and process carefully what they are sharing as what they are telling the community is a better deal, when it really isn't.
I've taken my lumps on here and have made my share of goofs and deal mistakes over the years. I just try to laugh at myself when I do, a DOH! moment.
Saying "I'll wait for the math" should be a light bulb moment so they do go back and look at what they shared versus what the deal is really offering. That person admitted this was the better deal after, so.....no harm, no foul.

It's not sarcasm. It's intentionally making the other person feel bad, even if they are just trying to figure something out about the deal.

that's your opinion. Most people on here are adults and can handle it. I get plenty of flak when I screw up on here. I feel bad, not that someone called me on it or was sarcastic towards the post, but that I shared information that wasn't true or posted a deal that really sucked because I totally missed a $50 shipping charge or that it was a questionable item or seller.
I've asked the mods to kill a number of my own deals that were not in the interest of the community because I wouldn't want anyone to purchase something in error based on incorrect information.
That person didn't indicate they felt bad, they just came back and said yeah, this is the better deal.
Honestly, my attacks aren't personal, I just asked them to share the math on their deal vs this deal. Not sure why that's causes anyone to feel bad personally. Maybe I even did them a favor if they were thinking they should get the cat food at Sams when in reailty, the Amazon deal is far less net per can.

LOL, no it's not a repost. a specific product 'scenario' as this is versus a link to all the items on the offer is not the same thing.
