Because Apple unethically refuses to enable MST - a simple driver function - no USB2 or USB3 hub can offer more than one HDMI output.
Even on M2/M3 Pro or M4 on up.
I'm sure they get a lot of returns on that.
I have the M1 processor in my Macs.
This WAVLINK dock claims "Wide Compatibility" and lists many compatible computers and operating systems including Android, Chrome OS, Linux, Mac OS, Windows and others. The seller's own video clearly shows them plugging the dock into a Macbook.
As for multiple video out ports, be sure to understand what you are getting! Again, down ad in writing and pictures, Windows shows flexibility and Mac OS shows limitations.
Finally, purchaser feedback answers some of the questions posed here and directly refutes claims like Windows only.
I'm not endorsing the product and acknowledge that it is frequently returned. However, I am encouraging doing your own research and being a bit skeptical of claims made on deal sites.
