How come they even consider selling a 256gb hard drive with these things? I understand they are upgradeable though.

You're on a site exclusively discussing discounts - it's just a way for them to keep prices low at the expense of customer experience unfortunately

I have a 1TB hard drive in my 15 year old lenovo desktop and I have barely used 125 GB. Everything is in the cloud or Google docs and drives. Great deal.

I understand that but I just figured people that don't know how or just out of pure convenience of not having to upgrade the hard drive on their own would prefer buying a laptop with a one terabyte drive but that's just my opinion as far as marketing goes and I know nothing

Doesn't mean we buy whatever crap is cheapest and just hoard if that's what you are implying 🤣
