is VA bad? I'm not buying it, but it looked like a pretty sweet set up for the price if I was in the market.

The Advantages of VA PanelsDeep Contrast: VA panels offer much higher contrast ratios (often 2,500:1 to 5,000:1) than IPS panels (around 1,000:1).True Blacks: Dark scenes look rich and cinematic instead of washed-out or gray, which is great for single-player games and movies.Price and Immersion: They are often more affordable and are frequently used for wide curved monitors that wrap around your field of view. The Disadvantages of VA PanelsGhosting and Smearing: Cheaper VA panels suffer from slower pixel response times in dark areas. This causes "black smearing," where trails or blur follow moving objects against a dark background. Colors and contrast can shift if you look at the screen from the side rather than sitting directly dead-center. Competitive Gaming: For fast-paced first-person shooters (FPS), IPS or OLED panels are usually preferred because their motion clarity is cleaner and faster.

Really been thinking about getting a separate computer for kids to use so they aren't jumping on my home office station every time I leave the room to grab water. Would be very light gaming, browsing, and I want them to do typing practice.

Physical panel keeps getting bigger but the resolution remains the same at 1080p. I guess selling to the masses who understands monitors only by the physical dimensions.
