Rated for 5000 mile oil change intervals. Conventional media rather than the heavy-duty synthetic media needed for longer intervals.

Longer intervals? 5k is more than I would wait. I shoot for just after 3-4k or when ever it looks dark or low.. Especilay with turbo and direct injection motors. Sludge is the enemy and your best defense is strict oil change intervals.

Puralator is a decent brand. I would take it over fram any time.

Great flushing filter in my eyes but you are spot on. Anyone going past 5k on any car is definitely not in touch with motor function. Only acceptable scenario would be someone that drives very very conservative
