All of these things use slow Android systems. May take 30 seconds or so connect to Bluetooth like this one. Display isn't very bright so plan accordingly.

Also it keeps getting disconnected. I wouldn't recommend.

YMMV, but my ATOTO A6PF has no issues like that. Carplay is up within seconds of starting the Jeep. I picked this head unit because it was cheap and I don't have a top on my vehicle so dust and the occasional rain happens. This thing has been running like a champ for over 3 years now.

How would something like this work driving with the full sun blasting right on the back of it? It's all dark colored plastic so I'm assuming this thing will heat up to 150 degrees even with the AC blasting full throttle!

I've got a 9 inch version of this from the same brand. I'm not stupid enough to watch YouTube or Netflix while driving, so it does the trick for me. Just audio control and maps doesn't require anything crazy and it works well

This is like someone complaining that their Firestick is a POS and someone chimes in and says they're having no issues with their Shield TV. They're using different hardware completely.

2014 JKUR and it sure does, although you need to purchase a PAC or idatalink module to keep the controls. You have to do that with almost any aftermarket HU though.
