After reading the reviews, decided not to purchase this.

Child lock breaks, leaving rotting food inaccessible inside. Smoke and fire. Stops working after a few months, not years. Warranty service horrific.

Appears it is made by Galanz, not the same Kenmore brand that Sears sold.

You can turn the child lock off. It even has a sticker on the microwave to show you how.

I just picked it up and it works fine.

Yes, there's a sticker on the front of the microwave that shows you how to do it . Takes 10 secs.

I think it's hold down 0 button for 2 seconds lock name will come up then hit number 7 then 9 to turn it off.
