While looking for a deal on a Ridgid impact wrench and chainsaw, I stumbled upon this in-store clearance item: So, this is a big YMMV. Don't chew me out on it.

BRUSHLESS Subcompact Drill + Impact Driver + TWO 2.0Ah Batteries - it sounds like a perfect kit for somebody who is entering the Ridgid ecosystem or somebody who just needs a basic yet reliable power tools around the apartment/house.

Go to the item page. Look for the "See In-Store Clearance Price". If you don't see it, try your luck again by "check nearby stores".

20 near me.
I bought the sub compact drill kit on clearance for $50 a while back.

It might be worth snagging for the sub compact drill kit impact driver and extra drill and batteries

I remember the good old days before tariffs and such, when this kit was $77 for Black Friday.

Probably overkill for basic apartment or house needs. Could probably get away with Ryobi. I used rebranded 1st gen M12 tools for years before moving to Ridgid and expanding my collection

Idk why ppl downvote the truth. And that would've been a steal. Makes thus deal look meh, esp bc it's not even 50% off.

I'm not knocking these tools. I love them and use them all the time, for almost 3 years now.

Holy hell, they increased the msrp 33%?
$100 is not bad, but $77 is great

Just picked 2 of these and I opened one of them and the trigger is broken on the impact. 😒 Feels very flimsy now I gotta return it.

That's crazy. I'm sorry to hear that this thing broke right out of the gate. For the first time in the last 10 years, I finally opened my first LSA ticket a few weeks ago to have my blower repair.

Not sure how bad this experience has left a bitter taste in your mouth. You may not even want to spend another penny on RIdgid. Provided you wanted to keep the tools and the store might have sold out, I am curious if it's worth your time to even consider asking custom service at the store to REPLACE (instead of return for a refund) the same or better model?

I bought this set at $169 the end of 2024. Haven't needed the impact driver yet but absolutely love the drill. Light and has a ton of power and torque. Seems well made

Got this yesterday and the batteries are dead and one trigger is broken so both are going back. Did anyone else that got this have any issues with batteries being DOA? I don't really want to jump the batteries and I feel like I shouldn't have to brand new out of the box.

youtube reviews and tests say different. Life time warranty itself is worth every penny!!
