I have this and it's awesome! Unlike the telescoping pole saw, this pruner can run all day on one battery. It's quick and effortless for tree thinning. Not too heavy either.

This is not a saw, its a bypass pruner (pruning shear). Maximum branch size is 1 3/4 inches, and only has a reach of 7-10 feet.

I would suggest a fiberglass pole saw. Can get twice the height. And the blade cuts through small limbs like a hot knive through butter.
